Hi Misch,

AFAIK, the velocity of notes in the MIDI editor has to be adjusted via your mouse, so the X/Y's QWERTY mode (which functions like arrow keys) couldn't be used for that.

Thanks,

Stray

Hi,

Yes. Move to Control Bank B, use the focus knob to put the focus on your devices and then use the left/right knob to move between devices. You can also use the arrow pads in Pad Bank D for moving between devices.

Thanks,

Stray

Hi Stray ,

is it possible to move from one to another fx with NPK II, as with APC40 in the bottom window?

best regards

 general question for live
« Result #6 on Dec 17, 2009, 11:29pm »

i was wondering if there is a setting/way to get around the play marker from jumping around whenever i click on something in the midi editor. for example when im working on beats i like to select the clip and constantly hit play on the padkontrol to hear the edits from the start, but if you click anywhere else besides the notes it moves the play position and you have to select the clip again each time so it will start from the beginning. just kind of a nag and alot of useless clicking. any suggestions?

This looks amazing Stray, a massive improvement. I really like the idea of splitting the track and master sections. Also the scales look cool, im particularly interested in the indian scales such as Todi, they should be pretty useful for my sitar playing.

Good work Stray, I can't wait to try this out.

Cheers

Winspector will let you see what you’re trying to get at. Didn’t realize that other link was dead.

Thanks, oh yeah I read that actually! I couldn't find Winspector Spy but found another program called WinSpy which does the same thing. I can get a message from selecting the Ableton window, I just can't figure out how to get the specific message for selecting a particular menu item.

OK so you do it that way instead of doing it by keyboard, makes sense.

Thanks for the help anyway, just trying to make some extra use out of Maschine's MIDI mode!
