Thanks. Do you have the Kontrol Editor installed? If so, use that to Receive Scene Set from your nanoKONTROL. After doing that, what are the names of the nanoKONTROL’s four scenes?

So the issue is that the scene transfer is failing. We could troubleshoot that further, but I think it would be more efficient to just provide you with a build that doesn’t include the scene transfer. I’ll try to get that done by Monday.
When you get a chance though, please let me know the serial # of your nanoKONTROL. It’s listed on the bottom of the unit, on the right hand side of the label. Should look something like 004837.
Thanks,
Stray

Okay, sounds good I'm not sure whatthe scene transfer means, but if it can solve my problem to get a build without a scene transfer everything is great.
The serial # of my nanoKONTROL is 008476

Thanks. When you open up nanoLive II, it sends scenes to your nanoKONTROL so that it’s setup to send the right MIDI messages. Right now, that isn’t happening for you. Your nanoKONTROL is still setup as it was for the original nanoLive.
If you get a chance, there is actually something you can do that would help a bunch. This is completely voluntary though, you’re not obligated to do it.
1. If you don’t already have it, download and install http://www.snoize.com/MIDIMonitor/. 2. Open MIDI Monitor. 3. Open the Kontrol Editor. Under Communication, select Receive Scene Set. 4. Click on MIDI Monitor, go to File – Save. 5. Send me this file.
Thanks,
Stray

Wow, that was fast. Hopefully, this sheds some light on the cause.

Everything seems fine there except for the very first entry. I don't recognize the SysEx and the timestamp is way off (it's about 30 minutes earlier than the rest of the entries).
Was MIDI monitor open for awhile before you did the capture for me? Either way, try doing it again and see if the first entry is the same.
Thanks,
Stray

Thanks. Something is definitely wrong there. Aside from the strange SysEx, the timestamp on the first event is still way off. And, the scene data was all dumped twice. It should’ve only been dumped once. I figured that was a mistake on your end with the first file, but the second one is identical.
I’m not sure what you could do to correct this, but it would explain why nanoLive II isn’t working for you.
Anyhow, we’ll revert to the plan that I’ll send you a build without the scene transfer.
Thanks,
Stray

I've got the modified version done for you, but I need to know the email address you used for upgrading. Send an email to support with that info when you get a minute.
Thanks,
