I wanted to start a thread where we can share some of our more complex Clyph X action lists and describe how they're useful.
Here's a few X-controls that I use:
1. Create a 1-beat clip in the selected clip slot; name it " SEL/SNAP DEV"; turn the clip loop off. When this clip is played, it'll snap the device settings of the first device on the selected track. ADDCLIP SEL 1; CLIP NAME SEL/SNAP DEV; CLIP LOOP OFF
2. ADDCLIP SEL 1; CLIP NAME SEL/SNAP DEVALL; CLIP LOOP OFF
3. Create a 1-beat clip in the selected clip slot; name it " ALL/SNAP MIX"; turn the clip loop off. When this clip is played, it'll snap the mix settings of all tracks. ADDCLIP SEL 1; CLIP NAME ALL/SNAP MIX; CLIP LOOP OFF
4. ADDCLIP SEL 1; CLIP NAME ALL/SNAP PLAY; CLIP LOOP OFF
5. Create a 1-beat, unlooped clip in the selected slot; name it " PUSH SCL"; play the clip to snap the current Push scale settings ADDCLIP SEL 1; CLIP NAME PUSH SCL; CLIP LOOP OFF; PLAY SEL
So what other general-purpose action lists do you guys find useful?
Thank you Rouby44, These are very good ways to make presets. It can seriously boost my workflow. To be even more suitable, created clips grid should be set to none. I think I saw once a complex action that creates a track, routes its input to current track, arms it, records 2 bars, stops current clip and play new clip... but I don't find it anymore... maybe in Stray's examples? It should be very useful.
xav, I came up with this. The audio_track does need to exist (great for outboard gear snippetcrushing). if I added the audio track first I was not able to create the audio clip. But will look into it some more later.
IN AUDIO_TRACK; CLIP NAME AUDIO IN; CLIP LOOP 4 ; ARM ON ; MON IN ; PLAY SEL

I just discovered clyphx -amazing. it has been integrated into a new mouseless production work flow I'm trying. I only have an ipod touch w/ touch osc and a novation LK mini.. With another software by eraser mice (ProSession) I have managed to create endless assignment of repetitive tasks like device control, view modes and rec. swap. btarr etc, these 3 unrelated softwares work well together, and easy to start. my hand already feels better (mouse tunnel). I am turning all clips to a follow action of stop and set launch mode to gate. with eraser mice's tool I can do it all in arr. view with 1 monitor, that is what I wanted all along. If you all know of some helpful production end actions I'd love to hear about it. I do not perform with this daw, only write music. so arr. view is my tool, sess. my mixer. also I do not like to randomize anything.. I guess giving my creativity to the machine feels wrong to me.
Great thread! I have a couple of actions that clean up my project while performing. I do a lot of recording so I have X-clips set up that will clear the loop after I'm done and reset the knobs to initial setting again. So now when practicing I don't have to reset all the clips and knobs all the time. For example I record a loop on scene 12 and play that for a little bit and when I trigger scene 13 it will clear that loop on scene 12, in some parts it even only deletes the melody line and not the chords in the same clip. I love ClyphX.
Not at my computer right now but if you guys are interested I can post the actions.

I'm new to the forum, pretty new to Ableton, really new to ClyphX and in the process of learning. I'm going to binge learning everything into the new year, solely for performance. I have a show to set up for someone for 2018.
I was wondering if anyone has any useful action list posts for performance. Any action list suggestions that would be great to set up or support live looping?
I know that is a very general request and some action lists are very specific to ones needs...but I thought I'd ask! You never know.
Anything related to performance would be great.
