Would it be possible to delete a clip other than the one the clip action is on? CLIP DEL I can't seem to get any of the syntax to work. i.e. CLIP DEL 1/clip1; 2/clip2, or something like that. The process would be to duplicate scene 1 and then delete all the clips in the original scene 1 leaving KEY mappings for the original scene 1 intact.
"clip1 del" works on the track it is on. What would be the syntax to do multiple tracks with one action list/clip? "1/clip1 del" on track 2 will delete track 1 clip 1. so "1/clip1; 2/clip1; 3/clip1; 4/clip1; 5/clip1; 6/clip1; 7/clip1; 8/clip1 del" should work, but it leaves a none triggering clip. "1/clip1 del; 2/clip1 del; 3/clip1 del; 4/clip1 del; 5/clip1 del; 6/clip1 del; 7/clip1 del; 8/clip1 del works.

Hi - reviving an old thread. If I want to do the opposite of the original post... if I want to delete clips 2 thru 25 from Track 3 (ie: remove clips in scenes 2 thru 25 from Track 3), what's the most efficient way of doing that?
You'd need to list each clip you wanted to delete like 3/CLIP2 DEL ; 3/CLIP3 DEL ; 3/CLIP4 DEL etc. That's efficient, just longwinded. FYI, ClyphX Pro supports clip ranges (like 3/CLIP(2-25) DEL), so you'd just need a single action to do this with ClyphX Pro.
