I feel like there's a very simple solution to that, but I can't seem to find it. I'd like to simply move the Clip Start position of a clip that's looping, without touching the length of the clip. So let's say I have a 2-bar looping clip, I want the loop to keep its exact position and length, while the Start position moves around (aka Offset). Right now, CLIP CUE action changes both the Clip Loop position and the Clip Start position. CLIP START and CLIP LOOP both change the Loop start position. Why couldn't CLIP START action only change the actual Clip Start position, rather than the Clip Loop position?
If it isn't possible to do that with Live's API, is there a possible workaround for offsetting looping clips?
If you're using Live 9, CLIP START should strictly move the start marker (not the loop start marker) regardless of the looping state of the clip. If you're finding that not to be the case, please post your Log.txt file so I can take a look at what is going on.
While I'm here, instead of creating a new post I'll quickly ask you: is there any way I could trigger the "Loop Selection" command (Cmd+L)? I couldn't find it in the ClyphX actions and I'd like to be able to trigger that from my controller. Any idea?
