Just found yesterday - switching to drum rack rack during session, then record some beats, but then after 30 seconds Launchpad became frozen, no pads reactive, disabling script doesn't help. Pulled out usb cable from launchpad..and PC immediatly gone to reboot. Test with usb hub and with direct connection to pc. Ableton live 10, LPC 2 1.0.5. Launchpad Classic. Maybe you need some log files?
Sure, attaching your log file is always helpful. In general though, it sounds like something is going wrong here that is unrelated to LPC-Live 2. Disconnecting a MIDI controller should not cause your system to reboot.
Don't find anything critical in this log file. Noticed that everything freeze when recording drums with drum rack mode and Launchpad was frozen just after recording. Again turn off the cable - reboot after 2 second. Very strange...it only happen with drum mode.
Thanks for posting the log. Everything is fine there except that your settings are incorrect. In particular, the Remote switches should be turned off for LPC_Live_2 Input and LPC_Live_2 Output in Live's preferences. That likely wouldn't have any bearing on the issue, but it certainly wouldn't help.
What do you mean by "everything freeze when recording drums"? Also, when the "Launchpad was frozen just after recording", which indicators in Live's upper right hand corner flash when you press buttons on the controller? If you're not sure which indicator is which, turn on Info View and hover your mouse over the cursor in question.
Based on what you're saying here, the problem is not LPC-Live 2. If it were, you'd have experienced this the whole time you've had the product (over two years now) as Drum Mode has not changed in all that time. As I said before, it is not normal that your system is rebooting when you disconnect a MIDI controller. That indicates some sort of a hardware problem, not something a MIDI Remote Script like LPC-Live 2 could cause. I'd suggest that you try using the Launchpad without LPC-Live 2 for a bit to isolate the issue.
