while playing chords, the notes are automatically recorded into the clip in Live 10. it's like the step sequencer is always on. pls help. the manual and video tuts are not the best (i swear i watched one video 4 times and i still can't get the step sequencer to work. i must've messed it up. restarted everything but it's still happening)
thanks Stray. Brilliant work. i/m very new to live 10 and i just got the old push the other day so i'm still wrapping my head around the features. it's day 2 and things are starting to make sense lol. i was wondering if there is any way to connect the Push1 to the iphone or the ipad to use as a controller for music apps. i can see a lot of ios musicians picking up the old push for this purpose. do consider it if it's still not in your product list.
You can ignore that. Push will function as a standard MIDI controller when in that state. However, unlike most controllers, Push has two sets of ports. When in that state, you want to use the second set of ports, which will be named something like Ableton Push (Port 2), Ableton Push (User Port) or MIDIIN2 (Ableton Push).
